नमस्कार,
मी गायत्री ...
My mission is to preserve Marathi and Hindi languages.

My journey
I have been passionate about teaching and languages since my childhood. My favorite game was to teach a class of imaginary students a made-up language.
Growing up, I was exposed to the rich body of Marathi literature through books, music, live performances and Marathi theater. As I soaked this all up, my mother tongue became my career.
I picked up Hindi before it was introduced in the school curriculum, thanks to the constant exposure to it through our linguistically diverse neighborhood and omnipresent television.
I've spent the last seven years indulging this passion of mine as a journalist, a radio jockey and a blogger.
After coming to the US in 2018, I was initially clueless about the prospects of my language career. So I chose to focus on the teaching part and took up a job at Bright Horizons as an assistant teacher.
In April 2020, a chance Facebook conversation turned into my first Marathi teaching gig. That would turn out to be the first step on the path that has led me here. The progression from one student to fifteen in a span of nine months gave me the confidence to work full time on my vision - teach one thousand students.
